- Power on your Nano X and choose “Set up as new device” [citation:2][citation:6].
- Create a PIN (4–8 digits) — never share it [citation:6][citation:8].
- Write down your 24‑word Secret Recovery Phrase. Store it offline, safely [citation:2][citation:6].
- Confirm the phrase on the device, then install apps for your favourite assets via the app [citation:8][citation:10].
